READ IT - the best source for emailing to businesses - your emails won't be cold anymore

I was not sure if I should write a review, especially a positive one, as somehow you do not want to share a hidden gem once you found one, right? It's like this saying: a tourist is destoying what he is looking for by finding it. So I found a great resource for how to "cold" email and if I share it now many other people might do the same until it wouldn't work anymore. But ok, I take the risk.
The book is full of practical (!!!) information. I have been in Sales and Marketing for many years and plaid around a lot with emails since I have got my own company (www.alpenanimation amazing explainer videos for start-ups) which is mainly a "I can work from everywhere" office. I wrote long emails, I wrote 1 line emails, I had good results and no results but never really found a way for a systematic approach. Reading blogs about "cold emailing" doesn't help neither, as writing standard bla bla emails with a bit of personalization just does not work - and this is the advice of most blogs.
Also, the follow up is crucial, but how to do it right? And how to react if someone just doens't answer or answers negatively?
Danny gives really practical insights and tips. I have increased my response rate to about 50% since I use his advice, whereas for sure the quality of the contact is very important, quality beats quantity. I am writing as a B2B marketer and not B2C, so I use emails to reach out to individual persons about whom I want to learn before I write to them.
Read this book, it is far too cheap for what it does (I do not get any commission from Danny for writing this, he wouldn't hire a German guy :-)).

From cold to gold

I was privileged to receive an advance copy of Danny Flood’s book. I’ll start by saying if you’re sending cold emails to prospects or influencers, you’re probably doing at least one thing wrong that can be improved. Based on that alone it’s worth picking up a copy.
I spent two months cold emailing prospects and was getting very limited responses. After reading Danny’s book and implementing his follow up template, I got replies from prospects that I hadn’t heard from in weeks. There’s also a suite of tools to help you manage and pipeline contacts. Expect nothing less than 100% value from cover to cover.

- The approach is indismissable
- The methods provided in this book are simple and readily usable
- Each mail box hack is deep in use and well used by the author before sighting here

- Filing, arranging and even bulk mailing might become very easy through this book
- A high quality material
- Very importantly, by 'not' reading this book, there is much to lose.
