GREAT conclusion

Now the conclusion of Geneva and Berk story was just gut wrenching. I bawled because of the depth of pain displayed from both parties. I didn't know what to expect or if what was received fit well in that moment but in the end I was at ease. It is hard to get over pain that has held you captive for years. What Berk was not depending on the fight that came from a blonde who lived it and had support from people who are still living it.
This was perfection and I have to be the first to say the ending of Snow Boy had pissed me off but Kay did that for a reason. I got an understanding that I was not expecting and a healing that was needed. Great read and informative all the way through. This is a MUST READ.

Completely screwed up with this one, how the hell did I miss the rest of this series – damn this is book 6!!!!
I haven’t had the opportunity to read the earlier books in the series and as such I think I might be missing some series details but I have remedied that and bought the others, just need to find myself a quiet weekend to read them all but if they’re anything like this then I am in for a treat.
I will review this on its own merit and please excuse the fact that I have no points of reference with regards to past events – I can only go on what is in this book as it stands and I have to say the author certainly didn’t skimp on the details.
This is a little corker it has so much going on it was almost impossible to catch my breath.
The book is Geneva and Berks story and OMG is painful, they wrung me out, honestly I think I need to buy tissues on a commercial scale!
Both of them have back stories and painful secrets that are proving to be more of a hindrance than they’re willing to admit but it takes time to see that you have to truly let go in order to move forward.
Physical pain can be overcome, eventually but unless you take a good hard look in the mirror, emotional pain, the sort that takes up residence in your mind and refuses to move like some sort of psychological squatter is crippling.
Berk had to move on, little did he know who it would be to help him do that!

A complete journey into a past that was dark and painful but one that when overcome, allowed in more light than could have ever been imagined.
I loved the book and the characters and I know that I am just going to adore the rest of the series, reading it back to front may not be ideal but having picked up snippets of other characters I need to know their stories too.

I have to say, I have read all of the books in this series. Snow Boy is by far my favorite and for many reasons. You get to see all of the characters and see how they have grown but you also get to see Geneva evolve. She is in the story line from the very beginning. She wasn't always this sweet selfless person. She was mean and manipulative. She didn't care who was in her path, she was bond and determined to ruin lives. But fate stepped in and gave her a second chance. Life works in mysterious ways!
Geneva is alone and pregnant. She loves her "peanut" and know she needs to tell Berk but can she? When she left Hawaii, she seen him with another woman. Then she came to the conclusion that she was just some vacation fling for him. When she sees that he is at the XGames and snowboarding again, she is shocked to say the least. Now she knows she needs to go see him and tell him about the baby. But will she get the greeting she wants? No, life is never that easy.
Berk is back on the mainland. After Geneva left abruptly, he was angry and ready to start a new life but his past life still haunts him. When he sees Geneva at the XGames he is excited and totally pissed off. He wants answers and he may not like the ones he gets. Especially when he sees her and her baby bump. He says things that he can't take back, makes mistakes, but he is also scared.
What will happen once both of their secrets are revealed? Can you really give someone a second chance? And can Berk let go of his on guilt?
I was so excited to see how this story ended!! The author didn't let me down!! Love this couple!!
